Meet October Lumens, an exceptional teenage dancer whose 18th birthday coincides with her senior year of high school in Surprise, Arizona. Life seems ordinary until a mysterious stellar event unfolds in the remote Arizona desert. There, a once-respected science professor and astrophysicist, Abe Dallas Jean, now turned mad cult leader, assembles a group of terminally ill followers known as ‘The Pattern.’ They believe that a cosmic alignment will heal them.

Back in Surprise, October returns home to celebrate her birthday with her loving adopted family. However, beneath the starlit Arizona sky, she experiences a mind-bending transformation. October discovers newfound powers, including the ability to float, summon light and fire, and even take flight. Her family watches in astonishment as she evolves before their eyes.

Simultaneously, Abe Dallas Jean harnesses a peculiar contraption to amplify the star’s energy, beginning a process of healing. However, his cure comes at a dark cost – he drains the life force of his devoted cultists.
